News Just In- NO SURRENDER!

A major security operation was being mounted at Renfrewshire City Council today to ensure no repeat of the violence of previous years when the Labour group clashed with the will of the electorate.

Labour members from all over Scotland were arriving at the council this morning and attempting to march back into control of Renfrewshire - despite a nationalist and lib dem coalition taking control of the council.

However, they were due to find their way blocked, the other parties believe in some sort of democracy and following votes by members of the public, Labour have been cast out of office.

Large numbers of troops with heavy equipment worked throughout yesterday to make sure any attempt by Labour Party members to reach the flash point of the council chamber was blocked.

The heavy barrier traditionally used to block the road below the council was in place early today.

Fences of razor wire also stretched across the fields to ensure Terry Kelly couldn't get around the main steel barriers.


Police have vowed to provide as low key a presence while the Renfrewshire Labour group struggle to understand what has happened. Initially supportive of democracy, when they thought the results would be as expected, the party has now launched an internal inquiry to establish just why the public have defied their orders.

Assistant Chief Constable Stephen White, in charge of the operation, said: “I intend to police this year’s event with as light a touch a possible, but if we have to stop people, we’ll do it in proportion to the numbers of people there and the threat which is posed, personally I'm shitting myself at the thought of the 'Barn Door Kellys' sitting on me. If anyone had told me that I would be standing here today out of control of Renfrewshire, I would have been totally unbelieving.

I am here by the vote of the majority of the electorate of our beloved Region.

"During the past few days I have listened to many very well placed people from outside Renfrewshire seeking to emphasise the contribution they claim to have made in bringing it about.

However, the real truth of the matter is rather different. If those same people had only done the decent thing and let the Labour Party rule without their interference and insistence upon their way and their way alone, this terrible day could have been avoided.

I remember well the night of the traitor Hogg leaving us, I was so mad I should have been arrested and locked up on the orders of Fidel Castro-that beacon of hope to all in the glorious Labour Party.

It was only after our lord, our hero, nay our master Terry got tough that the NAZI Standards Commission intervened that it all went really wrong. I was kicked and cursed by non-Labour supporters -those vile dogs that do not understand our divine right to rule. But that was yesterday, this is today, and tomorrow is tomorrow.
